Τhe series of closed working sessions within the framework of the “Meeting Patients’ Needs” initiative, recently announced by the PhARMA Innovation Forum Greece continued with Hematology.
At the center of the discussion were the particularities of the journey of the patients of the specific therapeutic category and their needs regarding both access to their treatments and their interaction with the treating physicians and the healthcare system in general.
The patients’ point of view was developed by Zoe Grammatoglou, President of the Association of Cancer Patients Volunteers Friends of Doctors of Athens (KEFI), while extremely interesting observations were made by the President of the Hellenic Hematology Society, Elisavet Grouzi. Of course, the State could not be absent from the panel, and was represented by the Advisor to the Minister of Health, Babis Karathanos. PhARMA Innovation Forum Greece (PIF) was represented by the Vice-President of the Board of Directors Elena Chouliara, Elisavet Prodromou member of the Board of the forum and the General Director, Mariangela Economopoulou.
PIF member companies were represented by their executives who attended the meeting and co-shaped the course of the discussion with key interventions and questions to the panel participants.
